Welcome to Certified Nurse Educator® MasterClass Self-Paced Course!

The self-paced, online review course is based upon the identified competencies of the academic nurse educator and can be found in the Certified Nurse Educator Candidate Handbook.  

The academic nurse educator certification was created to establish nursing education as an area of specialty for nursing practice. Academic nurse educators engage in various roles and functions, and we must be knowledgeable about evidence-based practices and policies. 

This nursing continuing professional development activity is eligible for 5-Nursing Contact Hours.

Dr. Sellars Educate is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

To receive 5-Contact Hours, you must complete the following:
1. Review all content in the course, including presentation slides and Recordings in each Module for all CNE NLN Competencies.
2. Complete Course Evaluation

You may only receive 5-Contact Hours one time for completing the course, however, you may review the course content as many times as you like. 

The certificate will be emailed to you after you complete the evaluation.

You will have unlimited, lifetime access, and the content will be refreshed annually.
